Learning Domains

Written by Catalyst Program / 01.01.1970 /

I have always been a sucker for learning sciences and everything that is related to educational psychology, it is possibly one of the reasons why I fell in love in the field of learning and specifically in the division of instructional design .

Yet, throughout my journey in the field I bump into a lot of pseudoscience and obsolete knowledge (and researches) that many professionals still do apply (or consider sacred) and even advocate for in their designs.

Like: learning styles, using only 10% of our brain capacity, learning differs according to gender, performance is a sign of learning, etc..

The list just goes on with all the myths that many hold as a holy reality; nevertheless all what I do about is be snarky & sarcastic without being helpful in trying to eradicate this through what I already know from my meandering knowledge & research.
